Montgomery Village, Maryland

This 3,600-square-foot branch replaced a previous Bank of America building at the entrance to the Montgomery Village shopping center. CBA acted as planner and architect, working in collaboration with Little Architects, who handled the interiors. The ground-up shell project adapts the typical Bank of America model to the site, organizing walk-up and drive-through services in response to the surrounding context. The building features an EIFS and cast stone exterior, as well as a bio-retention pond to reduce stormwater runoff and protect the surrounding infrastructure.
